Dear Friends,
I sincerely hope that you are yours are health and finding 2021 to be a better year than 2020. 2020 certainly was not the year any of us expected it to be. That being said, our Club is moving forward making plans for 2021 to keep you involved in our Club socially and politically while respecting health concerns.
2021 Program of Events
Please visit the Events section of our website to see the exciting programs the Club is holding this year. We are excited to be able to hold in-person activities again as we try to return to normal. Our events will also be announced monthly via email, Facebook, our website, and Constant Contact. It is our intention to introduce programs that have a combination of fundraising events, sponsored free events, as well as events that are just simply fun and purely social in nature. We welcome your thoughts on activities you would like to see us sponsor. Please note that we will follow all required health guidelines when we host our events.
2021 Political Landscape
New Jersey will elect a new governor in 2021 - a Republican Governor will all your help. NJ will also be electing our State Senators and Assembly representatives and our all important local representatives. There will be Election training thru NJGOP. Volunteer opportunities with call banks, door to door canvassing, new Voter registration, etc will be available across all campaigns for the primary and the general elections.
Membership Package
You can access membership information using the Membership section of our website. Membership in our local organization entitles you to membership in the National Federation of Republican Women. Your membership fees include $25 to the National Organization, $5 to the State Federation, and the remaining $15 to our local organization. As you are aware, all proceeds from membership fees are used to provide campaign contributions to our local and county women who face contested general elections. These races have become increasingly expensive so your continued support thru your membership is greatly appreciated. Please note that you can now go online and renew your membership at MorrisRepublicanWomen.org or thru our Facebook site.
Warmest regards,
Phyllis Florek,
President
